Our world-class teachers care deeply about each student’s success, supporting them to achieve academic excellence and flourish as individuals.

THE HIGHEST TEACHING STANDARDS

Your child will love learning at the International School of Moscow (ISM). Our teaching staff – many of whom have Master’s degrees – will challenge them to excel academically and nurture their personal, social, and emotional development. Our low student to teacher ratio ensures every student gets the attention they deserve in and beyond the classroom, too.

To guarantee the highest teaching standards, we actively recruit the world’s most outstanding native English-speaking educators. All our teachers are UK qualified or equivalent, with extensive experience in British and international schools.

TEACHER-LED TECHNOLOGY

TECHNOLOGY THAT TRANSFORMS LEARNING

Our teachers embed the latest interactive education technology (EdTech) into every facet of your child’s learning.

In lessons, students learn using interactive whiteboards, iPads, MacBooks, and 3D printers. Our STEAM collaboration with MIT exploits the endless possibilities of modern EdTech, too, creating unforgettable learning experiences that foster our students’ creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Our market-leading apps, which include Seesaw and Managebac, encourage collaboration and creative learning, as well as involving you in your child’s education. And on our Global Campus learning platform, your child will connect with Nord Anglia classmates in 32 countries, taking part in one-off international projects and challenges.

TEACHERS WHO ARE LIFELONG LEARNERS

Our teachers’ quest for continual improvement never ends. We make sure they have the very best opportunities to learn and grow, which guarantees our students benefit from cutting-edge, first-rate teaching and learning.
  • On the award-winning Nord Anglia University platform, our teachers share ideas with colleagues worldwide and study for further qualifications.
  • We encourage our teachers to further their professional ambitions through a raft of qualifications, including a Master’s in International Education with King’s College London.
  • Our STEAM specialists benefit hugely from our collaboration with MIT, which gives them access to trailblazing practise, ongoing development support, and university-standard resources.
  • Being accredited by organisations including the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Associated Board for the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) opens doors to a multitude of internationally recognised training opportunities.
