Dear DCIS Parents and Guardians,
Firstly, we want to thank each and every one of our DCIS families for helping make last two week's 45 year celebrations such a wonderful success. The festivities on Friday were the crowning glory as we welcomed over 50 VIPs and our assemblies featured student-directed videos, the old school anthem sung to Ode to Joy and a lively version of 'You've Got a Friend' by the ECA Choir. And this week we have buried the famous time capsule filled with artefacts from 2017 to be unearthed in 2067, 50 years from now.
The video for the Global Campus Virtual Choir is now available online and shows an impressive array of students from all NAE campuses from around the world (over 40 schools) singing as one. Click here to see the video.
This week sees the beginning of our iGCSE exams for students from Year 10 and 11, and we have a repeat parent workshop on Wednesday on the upcoming Sixth Form and IB Diploma Programme at DCIS which starts in August.
