After graduating from Cardiff University, Jack worked as a Learning Mentor in both a secondary and primary school setting, helping children overcome barriers to learning. This role confirmed that teaching was definitely the profession that he wished to pursue. Since becoming a qualified teacher, Jack taught in Warwickshire for two years before moving to Dubai, where he has taught for two years in an outstanding British International school.
Actively seeking opportunities to immerse himself into the school community, Jack has been involved with many different extracurricular clubs and activities. As a keen sportsman, Jack helped to raise the profile of sports at his previous schools by organising fixtures and setting up tournaments. Having a passion for drama and the performing arts, Jack has relished the opportunities to run drama clubs and to direct numerous year group productions.
Attempting to remain fit and healthy, Jack enjoys playing a range of sports in his spare time, including rugby and squash. Since moving abroad, Jack has also acquired an enjoyment for watersports, such as snorkelling and paddle boarding. During his time in Singapore, he hopes to travel and explore many different places.
