On Wednesday 2JW and 2HP performed a special assembly in honour of the Hari Raya Haji celebrations. The children were amazing at learning their lines, roles and working together to produce a great show. Hari Raya Haji is known as the festival of sacrifice where Muslims take the time out to look after those in need. It is a wonderful occasion to celebrate and it gave us a chance to think about what we are grateful for. Some children were able to say what they are grateful for and the audience were given the opportunity to reflect on this too. And of course, Miss Williams and Miss Patel are grateful for all the lovely children that we teach at DCIS.
