Visit by The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland

We were thrilled to welcome three members of The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland to our school on Wednesday.

The drummer and two cornet players performed as a surprise at the end of the Lower Primary assembly. The children and teachers were delighted as the band entered Cooper Hall after Ms Lebihan had finished the main part of the assembly. After the performance three children were given the opportunity to ask questions. The members of the band happily shared with us at what age they started playing their instruments, about their many medals and when they started to perform together. Many little fingers were seen tapping on the beat from the drum and the band most certainly inspired quite a few little future drummers and cornet players.

A big thank you to The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland for visiting!
