4SO and 4RD showcased their learning in English with an assembly on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
During the first weeks of term the students in Year 4 have been reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The story was enjoyed by all and for their assembly the children performed their own original narrative writing, poetry, drama and dance based on the book. The children really managed to capture the audience and it was lovely to see the 50 year old story come to life.
Well done to all children involved – you did a fantastic job!
