On the 18th March Mr. Kinsella and Mrs. Shahid took 18 girls to Microsoft to learn about coding concepts using Microbits.
On the 18th March Mr. Kinsella and Mrs. Shahid took 18 girls to Microsoft to learn about coding concepts using Microbits.
The students really enjoyed listening to female speakers from companies like Imperva, SAP systems and the director of Microsoft discussing the difficulties they faced competing in a male dominated industry. The girls tried out numerous Virtual Reality software, including conducting dangerous science experiments and difficult surgery procedures. The day finished off with a competition, free gifts and unlimited hot chocolates.
