This two year post-16 vocational qualification, offered in Years 12 and 13, will be a full time, two-year programme of study providing students with a range of qualification and skills to prepare them either for further education opportunities or the world of work.

Students will complete four mandatory units worth 5 credits each, Business Purposes, Business Organisations, Financial Forecasting for Business and People in Organisations. Students then complete a further 40 credits from a range of options including units such as Verbal and Non-verbal Communication in Business Contexts and Customer Relations in Business. Students will also complete work experience and CAS (Creativity, Activity & Service).

A successful BTEC International Level 2 learner demonstrates the high standards of knowledge, practical skills and understanding required for further study and employment. At Dover Court we are looking for students who have achieved a minimum of 4 iGCSE/GCSE or equivalent, at any grade, and have a working knowledge and understanding of the English language. All applicants will be interviewed and may be asked to sit additional testing to ensure their suitability, rather than a selection process.
