What are the easy clues to tell if a food is healthy? How often are you eating sugary foods? What happens when we eat too much sugar? How can we make our favourite food healthy? Can I make a chocolate mousse with avocado?
These are some of the questions Dover Court ASDAN* students had the opportunity to discuss with our guest speaker, Alicia Davenport, a Naturopathic Medicine & Wellness Advocate in Singapore. An excellent opportunity for the students to think, reflect and reconsider what healthy eating is.
*ASDAN is widely recognised as an engaging Secondary curriculum that empowers students through personalised learning and choice. The courses motivate and enhance students’ confidence, self-esteem and resilience. In addition, students develop core skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, research and self-management.
