We are delighted to announce another excellent set of results for our IB Diploma Programme students.

  • Dover Court International School Singapore IB Diploma Programme University Offers

We are extremely excited to announce the results of our 2021 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) graduating cohort.

For the 2020-2021 academic year Dover Court International School had 20 candidates sitting the exams with a 100% pass rate, reaching an average score of 36 points, three points above the global average of 33 points. Two students achieved 44 out of 45 possible points, placing them in the top 2% in the world. Two candidates qualified for the bilingual diploma in English and Japanese and 15% of our candidates achieved more than 40 points.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is one of the most highly regarded post-16 qualifications in the world and a pathway to leading universities across the world, which is also shown in the amazing university offers our students have received.  We can't wait to see what this group of young people will acheive.

Mr Mann, DCIS Principal said, "It has been a very unusual year and these results are a reflection on the exceptional community of learners at Dover Court. The students have excelled through their commitment and hard work, coupled with the outstanding support of an excellent group of teachers, leaders and support staff. We were already exceptionally proud of the way these students have managed the complications of Covid and these achievements are the icing on the cake."

Head of Secondary, Mr Bull said, "I would like to extend my congratulations to the students and staff on these results, the best examined IB results in the school's history and 3 points above the world average.  It also demonstrates again, the value we add as a school to our young people’s education."

"The partnership between the students, parents and staff has been more important over the past two years than ever before and this triangle of support has been critical in supporting students to achieve these results and is a testament to our school and what it offers as a community. These results mean that a significant number of our students leave us to go onto wonderful world class universities across the globe. Wishing all our students and staff a well earned rest and time for celebration, and all the very best in their next chapter.", Mr Bull said.

Mr O'Shea, IBDP coordinator said, "I am just filled with pride and admiration for our students at these results. They are the reward and culmination of hard work, perseverance and dedication over the last two years, and the graduates fully deserve to celebrate this incredible set of results. I’m also thrilled for our staff because they’ve put in so much time and expertise to support our Class of 2021, so I hope they’ll enjoy celebrating these results too!"
