Christopher was born in London in the UK and has lived in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, Australia, Dubai, Ascension Island and Vietnam. After attending Gordonstoun, he got his degree and teaching qualifications from St Mary's College, University of Surrey. He joined Dover Court International School, Singapore from the British International School in Hanoi where he was the founding Head of Secondary.
Teaching since 1993, Christopher has spent the last 15 years in Senior Leadership roles including Head of Secondary in two schools in Dubai, Consultant Leader to a school in Kuwait and Principal of Two Boats School on Ascension Island, a British dependent territory in the South Atlantic.
Over the course of his career Christopher has led students on Adventure Trips to Russia, Tanzania and Oman. He was awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH) in June 2007. Christopher is a PADI and BSAC Scuba Diving instructor and is also qualified to teach First Aid. Married with two grown-up children, away from school he enjoys scuba diving, golf and exploring new countries. Christopher is a member of the Board of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and a Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation Team Chair.
