Sarita's teaching career began at a prestigious kindergarten in Mumbai, India, where she taught children in the Early Years for five years. She moved on to start up a new pre-school which she headed as Supervisor for over four years. After 9 years of teaching in India, she was delighted to find a place at Dover Court when she and her husband relocated to Singapore due to his work. She taught the Reception classes and was Year Group Leader for a year before taking time off to start a family in 2009.
Sarita re-joined Dover Court in 2013 and has taught the Reception and EAL classes in KS1. She is a passionate and dedicated teacher who strives to instill a love for learning in all the children she comes in contact with. She enjoys working with children of all abilities and aims to create a happy and positive learning environment in the classroom. Having grown up in India, Sarita has added to the cultural diversity of Dover Court by offering ECA’s like Bollywood Dancing and Yoga. Her hobbies include baking, swimming, cycling, traveling, photography and playing various board games with her family.
Sarita has seen the transformation and growth of Dover Court across a decade and is proud to be part of such a diverse, multi-cultural and inclusive school.
