She believes that cultural diversity is the greatest asset in enriching social and educational experiences and aims at bringing about a strong sense of identity and partnership among the students she teaches.

Ashwathy lives in Singapore with her husband and young son. She is delighted to be supporting the middle leadership team to deliver relief teaching which matches her varied experiences in class. In her free time, Ashwathy enjoys keeping fit by practising Zumba and she recently became a certified Zumba instructor.
