Caroline Doyle

Caroline Doyle

Primary Cover Teacher

Caroline gained her teaching qualification (PGCE) at Manchester Met University after studying Psychology (BSc Hons) at the University of Stirling.

Caroline particularly focused on Child Development and the Psychology of Learning in her degree. Her dissertation, which was published, was on children’s use of eye contact during cognitively engaging tasks.

Caroline has been teaching for almost 20 years and has taught all age groups across the primary range. She will be joining Dover Court after several years at another international school in Singapore, where she has been the Language Arts Coordinator and Character Education leader.  Caroline is incredibly passionate about the character development aspects of teaching and is a Virtues Project Facilitator. Before teaching in Singapore, she taught in the UK, where her teaching was frequently observed by Ofsted inspectors as Outstanding.

Outside of school, Caroline is kept very busy with her young son, Finlay. Her time is spent reading books to him and splashing around in the pool. Caroline’s brother and his family live in Taiwan and she enjoys spending her holidays visiting them.

Caroline is greatly looking forward to further developing her teaching career at Dover Court.
