Suzannah Ritch

Maternity Cover 2EB

Suzannah graduated from Swansea University, UK with a BA Honours in History. Later, Suzannah trained to be a teacher in Primary Education with Monash University, Australia and then went on to complete a Masters in Special Education with the University of Nottingham, UK, where her dissertation was on inclusion.

Originally from the UK, Suzannah’s first teaching experiences were in Hong Kong, where her drive to train as a teacher came from wanting to teach students with learning needs. Since then she has worked in International Schools in India and Singapore.

The American Embassy School, New Delhi where Suzannah taught for three years also valued inclusion. Whilst there, Suzannah helped build awareness of the different needs of the students and classrooms were set up to meet those needs. She feels inspired by her students every day, and wants to ensure that all children can develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively.

Outside of school, Suzannah loves to travel with her family and is a keen scuba diver. She is also a climate change facilitator for an NGO in Singapore, and hopes to inspire more conversations about how we can make a difference to our world.
