Emma Jones

Emma Jones

Secondary School Music Teacher, Form Tutor 7EJ

Emma graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Musicological studies and completed her Secondary Music PGCE at the Westminster Institute.

Emma grew up in South West London, UK, where her passion for music began. She then went on enjoy her Musicological studies at Oxford University where a particular interest in Opera and 20th Century Choral music developed. After gaining her degree and teaching qualification, Emma taught in the UK and Australia in a variety of different types of school.

Wherever the classroom is, she always has high expectations of her pupils and encourages an academic approach to the subject. 

When she is not indulging her love of travel, painting and reading you will find her perfecting her Shavasana in a yoga studio or in a cafe trying her hand at a cryptic crossword.
