Stacey’s teaching career began in the UK before she moved abroad. She is a very experienced international teacher and has had the opportunity to work all over the world including Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East. She has taught a variety of curriculums including IGCSE, A Level and IBDP. Stacey thinks it is important to create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged in their learning, inspired to fully participate and
encouraged to take risks without being afraid to make mistakes.
Stacey also finds it very rewarding to be part of school life outside of the classroom. Her most significant contribution to extra-curricular activities is being involved in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award as a mentor, expedition leader, and finally a whole-school coordinator.
Outside of school, Stacey has several hobbies including SCUBA diving, amateur dramatics, swimming, running and travelling. A particular passion of hers is fundraising for charity. She has taken part in a variety of sponsored events including a 250km Husky sled ride across Norway, a week-long hike through the Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca and several charitable runs.
