Following graduation, Siobhan spent five years working in a village school situated in the Kentish hillsides, where she was responsible for coordinating Maths and ICT. She also led many extra-curricular activities, including movie maker club, rounders and during the springtime, Siobhan could be found with pupils dancing around the maypole! In September 2013, Siobhan moved to one of the larger schools in Kent, where she was Art Coordinator and in 2015 was appointed Leader of Year 4.
From an early age Siobhan had a passion for history and as an adult has travelled across four continents in search of deepening her knowledge and gaining different perspectives. She enjoys bringing history to life in the classroom in a fun and creative way. As an educator, Siobhan aspires to instil a love of learning in her students, allowing them become lifelong learners and she fully encourages them to be inquisitive learners.
At the beginning of 2016, Siobhan along with her fiancé, swapped the Garden of England for life in Singapore. Outside of school, she is very keen to explore SE Asia and enjoys swimming. She is a huge Disney fan (favourite film: Mary Poppins) and a voracious reader.
