Year 4 Class Teacher (4CP)

Having completed her first degree in Politics & European Studies at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Claire worked in insurance before moving back to London in order to successfully complete her PGCE in Primary Education at Kingston University.

She has since worked at schools in London, teaching children from a range of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Claire began teaching in Year 3, leading History and Geography before then teaching Year 6.

Passionate about curriculum development and assessment, Claire developed her career; taking on a range of leadership positions from Maths leader to Deputy Headteacher, improving teaching and learning across Key Stage One and Two, whilst still maintaining her love of classroom teaching.  It is Claire’s belief that all children should have access to an education that fosters creativity, curiosity, passion, global awareness, kindness and honesty, as well as academic excellence.

Outside of school, Claire enjoys travelling and exploring new places and has been fortunate enough to have visited some fantastic places around the world. She has a keen interest in world history and is a passionate supporter of Liverpool football club.
