Lucy began her career in the UK. Having worked mainly in Key Stage 2 she is about to embark on her second year in an international setting.
As a teacher, Lucy’s hope is that children in her class are happy, challenged, motivated and grow in independence, so that they leave with the confidence to fulfil their aspirations. Lucy strongly believes that friendliness, kindness and a good sense of humour account for an awful lot in life, and aims to ensure that this is echoed her classroom. “Creativity is just intelligence having fun” is a mantra followed by Lucy, who has a passion for arts and crafts - this is reflected in the bright, fun and engaging environment in which she teaches.
Outside of school, Lucy loves to get lost in a book, satisfy her craving for craft and, more recently, has enjoyed exploring the world around her. She is making the most of being located in such a fantastic part of the world, soaking up any opportunities to understand new cultures and broaden her experiences.
