Year 2 IPC ''Transport'' Subject

25 November 2015

Y2 are thoroughly enjoying their IPC unit ‘Transport’...

We started off our topic with a very exciting Entry Point, where taxis, cars, buses, motorbikes, scooters and even cyclos filled the playground. It was great fun to explore all the different vehicles and we especially enjoyed beeping the horns on the cars!

During this topic, we have designed a car, explored different transport from around the world and created our own books to share what  we have discovered. We have also been scientists, investigating how we can make a toy car travel as far as possible. All the teachers were particularly impressed with the vehicles made as part of a homework task.

We are all looking forward to ending our unit with a trip to explore the different types of transport on display at The History Museum of Ho Chi Minh City.
