U14 Boys Basketball SISAC City Championship 2015

05 November 2015

This year the U14 boys basketball squad made the short trip to ISHCMC to take part in the annual basketball City Champs.

The British International School HCMC were drawn in the same pool as ABCIS and SSIS. We played ABCIS in our first game. BIS 18- ABCIS 33. Although we lost our opening game we have made massive improvements in our man to man defence and attacking play. Our second game was against SSIS, unfortunately another loss, BIS 12- SSIS 21. This was a very nervous and close game which only two baskets separating the teams until the last two minutes.

In our final game we faced a very athletic TIS team. Unfortunately after almost 45 minutes of basketball the TIS team sensed our fatigue and with a number of fast breaks put the game beyond our reach, BIS 9- TIS 40.

Well done to all the players who took part in the tournament and a special mention goes to Justin Chu the BIS MVP (most valuable player).

See how the U14 Girls got on in their tournament.
