The end of the school year is now upon us and I cannot seem to think where the time has gone. An Phu Primary Campus is a vibrant school with a diversity of children from well over 45 different nations and this unique mix enables us all to challenge whilst nurturing, extend learning whilst consolidating and take risks whilst caring, all within an environment that has one focus – learning.
This year has seen many successes for all of the children in our care. Please take time to read the article, AP1 in Numbers to start to put into some perspective what has been achieved.
I would like to both thank and congratulate all of our Y6’s for the production of ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat’ that was unveiled to parents last Tuesday. In a packed Auditorium, the children produced a wonderful rendition of the classic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. As they stated, ‘You and your Dreamcoat are ahead of your time’, and in seeing the show, I think that our Y6’s were also ‘ahead of their time’ too. Well done to everyone who helped to make this production a real success and I would like to wish all of our Y6 students the very best for the next chapter in their education. As I stated to them all on Tuesday evening:
- Never forget where you have come from
- Be yourself
- Be ambitious in all that you do

Community Service across our BIS Group of Schools continue to be a large part of what we strive to achieve in offering a rounded, holistic approach to education. A summary of all the community partners that have benefitted from our children’s willingness to generously give their care, time and empathy can be read about using the above link. Well done to everyone that have helped to make a difference!
In addition, I am proud to inform you of another very special random act of kindness that occurred last week. Read more about how the success on the football field for 10 of our Y1 and Y2 students, have helped to improve the sporting provision of others.
Well done to all of our Saturday Morning Footballers who attended the annual end of year tournament last Saturday. Everyone really entered into the spirit of fun, fair play and competitive sport. To view pictures and more details of this tournament, please access the link here.

School begins for the new academic year on Wednesday 26th August at 7.55am. I am looking forward to it already!
To all of the families that are leaving BIS today, I wish you all the very best and thank you for allowing us to educate your children. I sincerely hope that you time at BIS has been a happy and successful one and I am sure that your children will leave us fully understanding the terms ‘integrity’, ‘care’ and ‘respect’, whilst ensuring that the learning cycle consists of rigorous ‘enquiry’, ‘perseverance’ and reflection’. Good luck in your new adventure. I have included the link to our Moving On Workshop that was held earlier this month. This may be of use to help with the transition to another country, another city and another school.
Have a safe, relaxing and peaceful Summer holiday!
