Meet The New Teachers: Ms Aziza

In the coming weeks we will meet our new teachers and see how they are settling into BIS and Vietnam. First up is Ms Aziza Williams who has come from London to join us here at the An Phu Primary Campus as a Year 1 teacher.  We had a quick chat to see how she is getting on;

What are your first impressions of BIS?

My first impression of BIS is that it’s a very friendly place. Everyone had been so welcoming and kind, from the staff to the children and parents. The children are especially enthusiastic and happy to come to school which makes my job easier.

What new experience have you had since you arrived in Vietnam?

Since coming to Vietnam I have been on a Mekong Delta tour which was brilliant. I loved wearing the hat and going along the river in boat.

If you were writing a postcard to friends back home, what would it say?

Hi everyone, I’m having a great time in Ho Chi Minh City. Everyone is so friendly and the weather is much better than it is London. Today is my birthday and it is Vietnam Day tomorrow (a national holiday) so we are heading to Hoi An for a long weekend. Beautiful beaches and I may even get some dresses tailor made! Hope to see you all soon!
