15 BIS HCMC students achieve top results in IGCSE Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards 15 students from BIS HCMC have received an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award to celebrate their exceptional achievement in the 2017 Summer IGCSE series, with 2 students achieving the highest standard mark in the world for Mathematics.

15 students from BIS HCMC have received an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award to celebrate their exceptional achievement in the 2017 Summer IGCSE series, with 2 students achieving the highest standard mark in the world for Mathematics.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are a group of awards issued by Cambridge Assessment International Education to celebrate the outstanding achievements of students around the world who have demonstrated exceptional performance in the Cambridge IGCSE exams. The primary purpose of these awards is to recognise and celebrate the success of high-performing Cambridge learners in the Summer 2017 IGCSE series.

Highest Score in the World

The following students received the highest accolade of the ‘Top in World’ award which refers to the students who have gained the highest standard mark in the world for a single subject:

Emily and Rahul shared this incredible honour, both achieving the ‘Top in World’ award for Mathematics (without coursework) out of thousands of participating students. This achievement is even more remarkable when you consider that these two students took the exam a year early!

Highest Score in Vietnam

The following students achieved the ‘Top in Country’ award which refers to those students who attained the highest standard mark in Vietnam for a single subject:

High Achievement Award

‘High Achievement’ is awarded to students who have achieved outstanding results in subjects which are not so widely taken and which, under the current criteria, would not qualify for ‘Top in Country’ Awards. The following students achieved the highest standard marks in Vietnam and were presented with the ‘High Achievement Award’:

Fieke Evers - First Language Dutch
