Are you a recent graduate or about to finish your studies in a language rich discipline, such as English or Humanities?
We are looking for an Academic English Intern to join the team at BIS HCMC Secondary from August 2017. This would be a really worthwhile position for someone who is considering teaching in the future, as most teacher training routes now require evidence of school experience.
Please see below and forward the details to anyone you know who may be interested.
The British International School, HCMC, is seeking to appoint an Academic English Intern from August 2017.
The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level and will be able to support students at all levels up to and including IB students in developing their written English skills, particularly through extended written forms. This position would be an excellent opportunity to work in a leading international school environment, particularly for those who may be considering applying for teacher training in the future.
We are looking for an individual with excellent written and spoken communication skills and with high academic writing standards. The ideal candidate would need to be able to work with a range of young people on a one to one basis, as well as demonstrating the flexibility to support students in a variety of other ways, as directed by the head of department. He or she would need to be collaborative and work as part of the EAL and Academic English team in its drive to improve the quality of provision for our students.
Please explore the school website for further information about BIS HCMC.
