Nord Anglia Education (NAE) students once again achieved exceptional academic results this summer, significantly exceeding global averages in a range of renowned qualifications including IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This is the sixth year in a row that has seen continuing improvements in our already outstanding results. How do we do this?
The results are testament to the hard work and commitment of our students and staff, who are supported through the work of our dedicated Education Team to bring our Be Ambitious philosophy to life and provide an outstanding academic experience for every child.
Unique to NAE, our education team comprises senior experts in K-12 education with extensive experience in innovation and school improvement, spanning national and international curricula over many years. The team are based in Oxford, UK - a city renowned for its contributions to advancing the field of education. The purpose of our team is no different. They sit at the heart of our group of schools, harnessing innovation, sharing best practice and providing support and guidance to ensure the highest quality teaching and learning in every school.
Led by Education Director, Andy Puttock, the team has deep experience and knowledge of international education thanks to their backgrounds in teaching, school leadership, and curriculum and policy development and implementation. Additionally, the team specialises in areas such as digital learning and outdoor education.

The Education team work in partnership with our schools to think beyond traditional education to transform learning. They harness the innovation and talent within our schools and support them to ensure that their offer is at the forefront of K-12 education.
A key way they do this is by driving best practice sharing amongst our 7,000+ teachers globally so that our students benefit from the expertise of 56 schools worldwide.
“One of the main benefits of joining an NAE school, whether you’re a student, parent or teacher, is that you’re joining a global community and will therefore benefit from the collective innovation and knowledge within it. The Education Team play a key role in bringing international best practice to every school,” said Mr Puttock.
