For some this has meant learning in new classrooms and for others it has meant making new friends. This year the team have worked hard to involve all the students in a variety of shared activities.
The children enjoyed their entry point into the ‘Visual Representations’ IPC topic and have already produced some fantastic pieces of art work based on art from a range of movements. They will be learning more about famous artists from both here in Vietnam and across the globe. Their specialist art sessions with Ms Ella have proven to be most useful when mixing paint and colours and hopefully much of it will go up on display in the coming weeks.
A real highlight for all Year 3 students has been both the Tet fair and first year group golden time session today. The teaching assistants worked so hard to create a range of activities for the children and I know it was much appreciated. Golden Time is a reward for the children that, although the emphasis is on having fun and play, requires children to mix together play and make new friends. With eight different activity choices, the students were guaranteed a good time. They all enjoyed the session and are already looking forward to the next in a couple of weeks.
