Book Club - Novelicious
PTG Secondary is very excited to commence a book club for parents to participate in. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know about books across different genres and be able to interact and share ideas amongst our international population. We have our first meeting planned very soon.
Huma mother to two high spirited boys at BIS moved to Vietnam from Pakistan in May 2018 hoping to make it a home for her little family. Her transition from having a full-time Human Resource career to a happy stay-at-home mum has made her re-discover her childhood passion for reading. This, coupled with her desire to grow her global family, makes her very excited to take up this task. She is looking forward to exchanging books and views with all who would like to join her on this journey.
Parents from Secondary campus of BIS HCMC are welcome to join this club.
Please write to our book club co-ordinator Huma Jaudat at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested to be a part of it.

The Whole School PTG Social Night on Thursday 19th September was a super success. We had more than 120 people attending the evening including teachers and members of the Senior leadership team. Guests enjoyed some great conversations and interacting with new people, making new friends and getting to know our school community better while enjoying that glass of wine and scrumptious spread. We hope to see more faces at our next social night!
International Day - Friday 18th October 18th
International Day is often cited by our students as their favourite day of the year. This year we are continuing the theme of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
Parents and students can participate in their new venture this year by building something with a cardboard box to represent your nation. School is collecting cardboards for the same reason so please come forward and donate!
There are some new exciting opportunities for parents this year. You are welcome to represent your country by sharing your culture, your pride by showcasing it through dance, music or maybe a catwalk. Please contact Ms. Katie at reception if you wish to register for any of these activities.
The resource room is open now for collection of any stationery you would require for the day. Dates are Oct. 1st (tues), 3rd (thurs), 8th (tues) and 10th (thurs).
If you want to represent your country as a part of various cultural or social events then do write to us here at: firstname.lastname@example.org
