Staff Profile: Carli Holbrook

Carli Holbrook

Year 6 Teacher / English Leader

BA (Hons) Double Major in Political Science and European Studies, University of Toronto, Canada

PGDE, University of Edinburgh, Scotland

Carli joined BIS in August 2018 from Ontario, Canada. She has been teaching since 2006 and taught Y1 and Y6 in Scotland before moving to Thailand. Carli taught at an international school in Bangkok for nine years, first as a Y6 teacher, then as the Key Stage 2 Teacher Librarian. She has also worked as a Literacy Curriculum Developer within online education. Carli is passionate about teaching, especially reading, as well as photography, travel, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Owen, is also a teacher at BIS and they have three young boys.
