Staff Profile: Jonny McLoughlin


PE Teacher / Head of Year 12

BIS Vietnam is one of the leading schools in Asia and offers so many unique opportunities to teach, travel and  continue to learn. Students and staff are constantly looking for ways to improve and better themselves.  

BA (Hons) Physical Education with QTS, University of Bedfordshire, UK

Jonny joined BIS in August 2015. He previously taught for 5 years at Yavneh College Hertfordshire, on the fringe of London. Jonny has been Assistant Head of PE, with responsibilities for the KS3 programme of study and the whole school extra-curricular programme. He has also taught KS3 Science and was Senior Tutor for Year 7. 

Jonny has a keen interest in a large variety of sport including Gaelic Football, Table Tennis, Swimming, Ultimate Frisbee and Powerlifting.
