Staff Profile: Matthew Lambert

Science Teacher / Physics / IB Coordinator

My interests have always laid in Science. From a very young age I was fascinated with space and dinosaurs and those interests never left me. I enjoy communicating the wonders of the universe to young people through a practical slant.

BSc Astrophysics, University of Wales, Cardiff

PGCE Science (Physics), University of Wales Institute, Cardiff

MSc Educational Leadership, University of Leicester

Matthew joined BIS in August 2015. Prior to this he taught for 3 years in the UK before becoming Head of Physics at Markham College in Lima, Peru. His interests include astronomy, learning more about how people learn, travelling and live music. Matthew is accompanied by his wife, Fiorella and his two children, Rodrigo and Lilo.
