On Tuesday a group of year 6, 7 and 8 boys competed in a 7-a-side football tournament against several other polish schools. With 5 wins (5-0, 3-0, 3-1, 1-0 and 5-0) and 1 draw (1-1) The British School won the tournament. Our leading goal scorers were Andre Paul and Martim Begohna, both scoring 6 goals, other goals coming from Chris Dry, Bartek, Pawel and Stas Badowski. Andre Paul also won Player of the tournament. All things considered it was a great day for The British School.

In the Deichmann league, we won 3-0 in our first game the goals coming from Diego and Jerzy completed with a complete rock solid defence and an amazing performance from Kuba in goal along the constant shouting of Ms. Martin. In the socund game we won 6-0 the goals came from Jerzy (2) JP (1) Diego (2) and Bartek who took an outstanding half volley from just outside the box. This was the final weekend of matches and we finished joint top of the league only to lose out on first place due to our head to head record.

On Saturday a group of year 10 and 11 IGCSE students completed a cross country course, all finishing with excellent times. Ben Atwell was fastest for the boys and Karolina Barska was fastest for the girls.
