PE and Sport Forum
Thank you to the parents who braved the weather this week to attend the PE and Sports forum. It was nice to get a chance to talk to you and hear your thoughts on how we can move PE and Sport forward in our school. During the evening we looked at
- The role of PE and Sport in schools
- The results of the parental questionnaire that was circulated at the start of the term
- Some of possible directions for school sport in the future
This is very much a start of an ambitious journey that we will be undertaking in the months to come as we all strive to offer our students the best programme possible.
You may or may not be aware that in our continued commitment to providing new opportunities to students we are currently trying to get our Dry Slope Ski Club off the ground. This is initially for students in Years 7 – 13 and will (if we get enough interest) take place after school on Thursday’s after school. The details of the club can be found in this letter linked to this article and please not that for now we are aiming for students who are complete beginners to novice / inexperienced skiers.
Thanks again for your continued support
