IGCSE Information Evening

18 January 2017

All students and their parents intending to enter Y10 next academic year (starting in September 2017) are cordially invited to an IGCSE information evening on Thursday 2nd February starting at 18:00. The meeting will take place in the newly opened IB College.

Students in Years 10 and 11 take the two year Cambridge IGCSE courses. These are the world’s most popular international qualifications for 14 to 16 year olds. They are recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide, and are an international passport to progression and success in our school and beyond.

English, Maths, Double Award Science and Polish are compulsory subjects, but students have choices of their other subjects. The information evening will help students and parents understand the choices available and the factors to take into consideration when making their decisions. The Senior Leadership Team and the Heads of each of the subject departments will be present to give advice and students will receive a course guide with detailed information about each of the different subjects.

If you are not already a student in Y9 at The British School and you would like further information on our IGCSE programme, please email admissions@thebritishschool.pl
