The Body Worlds Exhibition review by Jan Gadowski

The Body Worlds Exhibition made a huge impression on the students.

The bodies of the people who lived were shown so that we could see all the muscles, connective tissues or internal organs. Some of the body parts were shown individually, it was hard to imagine that they were real parts of the human’s body. We also saw what broken bones look like; lungs of a smoker; muscles of a footballer playing football.

The exhibition was all about the cycle of life and models ranged from pre-birth through to old age.

The Body Worlds Exhibition helped me as a sport, exercise, and health science student to explore all parts of the body in real life, not only in the book. However, this exhibition also shows how our life is short and our body is only a thing that we “use” in this world.
