It has been a fantastic week for the TBS Hurricanes Basketball teams who have been playing in the District Finals.

They have spent the last few weeks playing in the preliminary rounds and have done an excellent job in securing places in the Final. Thursday saw the U19 boys play in the final where there defensive pressure and the effort were amazing. Szymon lead the way early on and in the final quarter Kacper provided some unstoppable scoring. It was a great team win with everyone contributing. This resulted in the u19 boys finishing in 3rd place overall.

Thursday also saw the U14 boys play in the final of their district tournament and they showed excellent teamwork, effort and skill to progress through all the rounds and make the final. In the final their winning streak continued and the u14 boys won the district competition.

The Girls won their quarter finals and progressed onto the semi- finals where they worked really hard and displayed excellent attitude and determination. They managed to finish 4th overall, which is a fantastic achievement.

A massive thank you to our great team of Basketball coaches for all their work so far this season.

The U14 teams handwork will continue today and tomorrow in a tournament against the American schools here at TBS.

Congratulations to all the players who have represented TBS Hurricanes so well over the past few weeks and well done for all your hard work and dedication in training.
