Coronavirus-free news and a call to send in your news!

Every second word we say, read or hear nowadays seems to be “corona”, “covid” or anything that refers to this pandemic.

  • Image 4

But this comes without surprise. Everything we do now, all our actions and choices are directly (or indirectly) influenced by this virus. The whole world is dancing to corona’s tunes. And the worst part is, that it just won’t leave us alone. I can’t even have a normal conversation without someone mentioning anything coronavirus related.

So, as I realised that we just don’t seem to be getting a break, I wanted to do something which would give us some “coronavirus-free” news and get everyone involved to bring back our TBS Warsaw sense of community. So let’s get down to business!

Once a week, I want to send out your stories of what you’ve been doing during quarantine. This will allow other people to both see what others have been up to and inspire them to try new things at home when bored. And of course it will allow you to share your new achievements with the community. So: your task is to send a short text, video, picture or anything else you can think of (if no text, please add a description) showing us how you spend your time at home. It can be literally anything (*examples at the end) – but please keep in mind, the aim is to send “news” unrelated to the coronavirus!

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me at alicia_halbach@thebritishschool.pl. And if you are keen to submit a story, please send it to the same address.

Thank you!
