Winter Sports Starting this Half-Term

Our sports program enters an exciting phase as our winter sports begin their seasons and the fall sports end their seasons.

Our fall teams will be wrapping up their seasons with their final trainings next week, w/c 28th October! Please note we still have one more week of games before the end of the fixture season.  

Girls Varsity Volleyball - we are excited to host our first tournament at St. James Sports Complex. Date to be confirmed.  

Girls Varsity Soccer – last game at the German School – Tuesday 5 November at 3.30. 

Boys MS Soccer - at the German School - Wednesday 6 November at 3.30. 

Boys Varsity Soccer - Tournament at the German School, Friday 8 November at 3.30 pm.  

We're excited to announce our winter sports are now being organized for students. Read below for more information about swimming and basketball.

Swim Team - We have an exciting new partnership with St. James Sporting Complex to offer our students in years 7-13 more sports and physical activity options, including our swim team. 

Training sessions will be every Wednesday, starting on November 7 at the St James Sports Complex.  The team will take a school bus to training each week. The bus will leave school at 3:40 p.m. and will return the students to school around 6:15 p.m. The team will train in the water for an hour. 

The team will have organized meets later in the year. Stay tuned for a schedule.

Basketball Teams  - Basketball season runs from November to February.  Boys varsity and JV will start their training on Wednesday October 30 at Jelleff at 7 a.m.  Middle school boys and girls basketball will commence the week of November 4th.  

The training schedule will be as follows: 

  • Monday 7 a.m., Jelleff Gym – MS Boys (Rob Taylor) 
  • Wednesday 7 a.m., Jelleff Gym – Boys Varsity (Melvin Blount) 
  • Thursday 7 a.m., Jelleff Gym – Girls Varsity  & MS (Nick Lee)
