Alex Herendeen

Alex Herendeen

Nursery (PK3) Teacher

Alex Herendeen has a wealth of experience teaching children from Foundation Stage to upper KS2, both internationally and in the UK.

After graduating from Leeds University with a BSc in Psychology, I then earned my teaching qualification and taught in Leeds, Bristol and Nottingham- in both KS1 and KS2- before deciding to teach internationally.

My first overseas position was at Dulwich College, Seoul, where I was the Year 1 teacher and whole school English Coordinator.

Despite thoroughly enjoying this role, I took a break from teaching to get married; which led to me studying French at the Defense Language Institute; travelling and living in twelve countries; and having my lovely daughter, who will also be joining the BISW family.
