College Counselor

I joined the BISW team during the spring of 2018.  As the Director of University Counseling, I am responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive career and college counseling program for the secondary students.

After fourteen years as a school and college counselor at a highly ranked IB public high school in New York; I relocated last year with my husband, dog, two cats and a horse to Maryland. I am also the proud mother of two adult children.  I am enjoying all that the DMV area has to offer especially the museums and the great state and local parks.

A native New Yorker, I hold a master’s degree in School Counseling from Long Island University as well as a Professional Certificate in School Leadership. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in Psychology.

Why I love college counseling at BISW?

I have enjoyed every minute of working in this small international school. The students are from all over the world and have such interesting stories to share. Advising and supporting them through this next phase of their educational journey is truly a joy!
