Off to Bali. Regents' students travel to Bali to learn surfing. I was one of the lucky 28 students that traveled to Bali during Regents International School Pattaya's Round Square Week to learn surfing. It is one time that we will always remember and look back to.

Although we arrived at Depasar Airport quite exhausted, we were encouraged to go surfing straight away! It was so much fun. First we learned how to stand up on the board and the next day how to turn. It was a bit complicated because the waves were very strong. Every day we had surfing lessons in the morning and afternoon for two hours. After every session people were exhausted but still had the motivation to go back to the water and try again. Every one of us could surf by the end of the trip. We didn’t only surf but also went shopping, to the waterpark and to the orphanage. I felt good to do some community work, I especially enjoyed visiting the orphanage and interacting with local children.
This was a great experience to overcome fears, make new friends, learn how to surf and raise awareness. I recommend everyone to go there if there is an opportunity. It is by far the best Round Square Week trip to join!
