Kaylan Patel is the 5-times Geography Bee Champion

MS GeoBee 2019
Kaylan Patel is the 5-times Geography Bee Champion 20 "Geography Geniuses" competed in the National Geographic 2019 WPS Geography Bee

Yesterday, we tuned in to watch our 20 "Geography Geniuses" compete in the National Geographic 2019 Windermere Prep Geography Bee, hosted by our Windermere Prep Middle School.  These finalists had their geography skills tested and impressed the audience with their extensive knowledge. Congratulations to all of our finalists: Dominick Falcone, Siddharth Gupta, Solan Rao, James Jonah, William Valdez, Aidan Bassuk, Willa Fitzpatrick, Riley Hayes, Luke Miller, Omar Naqvi, Neel Sahai, Nolan Shi, Jackson Berry, Eva Glorioso, Lucas Golden, Natalie Hull, Isabella Hargrave, Kaylen Patel, Cayman Robertson, and Luke Weber.  Congratulations to the Windermere Prep champion (a 5 repeat win!), Kaylan Patel! That's right... A FIVE-PEAT!

Additional recognition is extended to our runner-up, Fourth Grader Solan Rao!

Kaylan will take home the title of "champion" and now qualifies to participate at the next level, a state-wide competition in January.  The top 100 scorers in that round will meet to compete in a Jeopardy round-robin competition, from which the state champion will be named.  A national champion is then determined from the state championship in Washington D.C. We know Kaylan will represent Windermere Prep well at this next level of competition! ~ Mary Beth Davies, Middle School Director
