LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

AMERICAS GLOBAL GAMES ITINERARY

Running from November 29 – December 3, 2022, the Global Games will inspire your child to aim high and go for the gold.

Itinerary

The Global Games is an exciting 5-day programme packed with sports competitions, activities and the chance to make new friends from Nord Anglia’s schools across the region. The programme is designed to enable your child to thrive in an atmosphere of ambition, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Arrival and Opening Dinner

Students will be arriving in Orlando throughout the day. In the evening, we will kick off the Global Games with a welcome dinner.

Opening Ceremonies of the Global Games and Medieval Times

Your child will participate on the first day of the competition and enjoy the free time between events in the on-campus Olympic Village. In the evening, students will visit Medieval Times Orlando to enjoy a dinner theater featuring staged medieval-style games, sword-fighting, and jousting!

The Global Games continues with Main Event!

Quarter and Semifinals competitions will be held throughout the day along with fun activities at the Olympic Village. This evening, students will visit Main Event for dinner and play: bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, arcade games and more. Nord Anglia Education has reserved the entire facility for our athletes.

The final day of the Global Games, Awards Ceremony, and Islands of Adventure

The championship games are held in the morning and culminate in the closing awards ceremony which conclude by early afternoon, leaving your child plenty of time to visit Islands of Adventure theme park. Islands of Adventure features the amazing Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, and the park’s newest rollercoaster: the VelociCoaster!  Students will enjoy the park until closing time and dinner will be provided at the hotel upon their return. Students from North Broward and Windermere schools will head home directly from the park.

Departure

Students and chaperones will be transported from the hotel to the airport via coach bus. All departure times will be pre-arranged according to each school’s flight time.
