Since joining Nord Anglia, Petrina has completed the Middle Leadership Programme, which involved a research project for integrating iPad technology which supported her role as a Computing Subject Leader. Petrina has also been part of the partnership for developing the STEAM subjects with MIT. Petrina has experience teaching in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 and was previously also a Music Coordinator, which involved arranging a variety of musical events including taking choirs to sing at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
Originally born in New Zealand, Petrina comes from a large family of which she is the youngest. She is the mother of young twins born here in Shanghai. Outside of school, Petrina spends most of her time with her children, cycling and taking long walks. Reading is a hobby the whole family enjoys, as well as listening to different types of music ranging from musical theatre to pop and classical!
