29.03:
Students from my group finished their work on the teacher accommodation. This morning they got to tour a local village and met a medicine woman. After they went straight back to work on a goat shed for a family. They also made them a smokeless stove from cow poo and set up the home with solar powered lights.
01.04: On safari, students were treated to incredible wildlife: zebra, impala, warthogs, blackface monkeys, heron, giraffe, ostriches, ground squirrel, wildebeest, black kite, Bush elephants, rock hyrax, vultures, black backed jackals, water bucks, Egyptian geese, saddle billed storks, yellow billed storks, Cape buffalo, bats, a male lion sitting watching over his buffalo kill whilst many vultures waited for him to leave so they could feast, red billed hornbill, yellow necked spurfowl, spotted frog, leopard tortoise, blacksmith lapwing, butler eagle, lovebirds…
It was exhausting stuff being on African safari!!!
