Principal's Weekly Update (14 October 2022)

Dear Parents,

What a wonderful last week of the half-term it has been. Thank you to all of you for turning out and supporting our International Festival and 10^th Anniversary Celebrations last Saturday. It was truly a wonderful day for the whole school community. We had a massive attendance which is just what we hoped for. Time is spent enjoying the dance, drama and musical performances, as well as activities, stalls, and food and refreshments. My thanks to you all for making this day so special.

This week’s International Week kicked off with our whole school's flag parade of nations. Once again, a great turnout from parents. Throughout the week we have had class-based activities in primary, competitions and activities in secondary, culminating today with our food court and cultural exchange. Thank you so much to all the parents who have contributed their time and effort with baking skills, games, and memorabilia. Your support has been well noted and appreciated.

It has been wonderful to bring back to life so many of the enrichment experiences and events to the life of the school community this term after such a long period battling with the epidemic. We have more things planned as the year progresses. Watch this space!

I would like to wish you all a pleasant half-term break with your families.

School resumes once again for all students on Monday 24th October.
