We are proud to share an exciting snapshot of early university offers received by our Year 13 students. This stage of the application journey reflects months of careful planning, academic commitment and personal growth. From preparing for subject-specific entrance assessments and interviews to refining personal statements, portfolios and academic profiles, our students have approached this demanding process with maturity, resilience and purpose.

Recently, the school received excellent news as our Year 11 early entry IGCSE Mathematics students received their results from the November examination session. The outcomes were absolutely outstanding, with every student achieving a Grade 8 or Grade 9, and the majority securing the highest possible grade. These results reflect both the students’ commitment and the high level of support provided by their teacher.

At the SISAC Step 2 'Cross the River' competition, BISS was one of the only schools able to field two full teams — a powerful statement of our commitment to providing meaningful sporting opportunities for girls and boys.

We are delighted to announce that Mr. Andrew Lancaster, Principal of BISS Puxi, has been awarded the prestigious Gold Magnolia Award as part of the Shanghai Magnolia Awards conferred by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. The British International School Shanghai, Puxi (BISS Puxi) has been awarded the Nord Anglia Education Social Impact Bronze Certificate, a significant accolade that recognises the school’s deep commitment to embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) into its core ethos and daily practice.

We're very proud to announce that BISS has successfully renewed its accreditation with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). On top of this, BISS has been awarded 'Beacon Status'.
