Year Six Taking On New Responsibilities

With the new school year at BSB Sanlitun, we have a new group of children at the top of our school. As well as having a lot of learning to do they have additional responsibilities as the oldest children.

With the new school year at BSB Sanlitun, we have a new group of children at the top of our school. As well as having a lot of learning to do they have additional responsibilities as the oldest children.

Being a good role model is very important and the children are very keen to set a good example to the other children when they are in assembly and around school. They have the job of collecting and adding up House points every Friday from all of the classes so that the winning house can be announced in assembly on Monday. This task is completed in their own time. Year 6 also take on the mantle of House Captains and we are very pleased to announce our new House Captains for this year:

Blue House: Sora Suzuki, June Kim
Yellow House: Aaliyah Un, Edgar Kitokezi
Red House: Malia Pederson, Pei-Jen Chen
Green House: Ben Rinkema, Amy Jiang

In addition we have also elected two sports captains to lead BSB Sanlitun in our sport competitions - in school as well as out of school. They are Seiya Kakita and Manon Dodet.
We wish all of these children good luck and lots of fun in their new roles!
As the year progresses the children will be given additional responsibilities which I know they will relish and complete to a very high standard.
