During Cultural Week, the children at BSB have had the chance to immerse themselves in our vibrant international community. We have had parents visiting classes to 'make dumplings', demonstrate calligraphy, listen to stories from a wide range of countries and learn some traditional songs. With the help of our committed parents we also put together 2 'Cultural Fairs' for all of the children. This involved parents creating a stall to showcase some interesting elements from their heritage country, we had participants from the Netherlands, Korea, United Kingdom, Wales, Germany, Oman and the UAE, Japan, China, Australia and Taiwan.
Parents also provided delicious food from countries such as Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and many more. One of our Year 6 children commented 'I have learnt so much today, this was unreal!', all of the children from the youngest to the oldest had an unforgettable experience.
Thanks to our BSB parents!
